A hugely adjustable dressmakers mannequin able to realistically represent a vast array of women’s shapes and sizes

Thanks to the clever design the dressform is expandable to a much larger range of sizes compared to traditional dressmaker dummies. It also adjusts more easily thanks to the ingenious internal mechanisms.

Whilst the internal mechanics are complex, the user experiences an easy to use product which has six independent adjustment controls, such as the one shown below.

These independent controls allow the body shape to be altered rather than merely just resizing it.

Before producing a fully working prototype we verified a range of body forms the design would be capable of replicating by machining them out of EPS as pictured above.
